Can I keep my current phone number?
YES, your callers will call you at the same number.  After your number is transferred to PHONE PLUS, you’ll discontinue paying for both your published number and your roll-over numbers with your current dial tone provider.
Does the phone in my office ring when a customer calls?
It can, but many prefer the caller first hear your custom greeting message offering options to get answers to their questions. If the caller elects to speak with a staff member, your phones will begin to ring in the office and the caller will hear your targeted HOLD PLUS marketing messages.
How many phone lines can it handle?
Your PHONE PLUS CLOUD system provides 1 talk per extension.  With 3 phones and UPS and AMAZON extensions you’ll now have 5 lines.
Who writes and records the greeting messages?
We have written thousands of messages for The UPS Stores. We provide you a starter template and enable you to update or change the messages at no cost.  All messages are produced using our professional voice actors.
How many prompt messages can we use?
A telephone dial pad allows for up to 9 options. We recommend you not offer more that 3 to 4 options.
What type messages can be delivered?
With our INFORMATION MAIL BOXES you can provide answers to common questions through a recorded message. Popular messages are store location and hours, latest pick-up time, event details, fax number, email address and notary availability.
Can a caller elect at any time to talk with someone?
YES… during the main greeting or any of the recorded messages, a caller can press ‘9’ or the key you designate and be transferred to a representative. While your phones are ringing, your caller is being educated with your targeted, branded HOLD PLUS marketing messages.
What does the caller hear while they are being transferred?
Your callers will hear HOLD PLUS marketing messages that effectively promote UPS Store products and services.
What is the cost?

What if the phone rings and we’re too busy to answer it?
Your phones will ring 6 times before the call is directed to your voice mail enabling the caller to leave you a message. Then your voicemail audio messages are emailed to you, enabling you to listen, delete, save or forward your message.
How do we know we have a voice mail messages?
All your voicemail messages are sent as audio files to your email. 
Can you transfer a call from one phone to another?
Yes, when you are on a call, you can transfer that call to another user.  As well, if you are speaking with a customer who needs UPS, you can transfer them directly to that extension.  Same with customers needing AMAZON.
How do we retrieve a voice mail message?
All voicemail messages are sent as audio files to your email.
Who installs the system?
We ship the telephones to you via UPS. Once they arrive, we’ll guide you through plugging the phones in and walk you through a tutorial on using the phones.  This process is typically completed within 15-20 minutes.
Do I need any special phone lines?
NO, your current standard phone lines will be discontinued and your dial tone will come to you through your internet connection.
What do we do if we need technical support?
We offer 24/7 tech support via our toll-free 800 number.
Is there a warranty on the phones?
The phones are covered under a 1 year manufactures replacement warranty.
Can we purchase additional phones?
Yes, the PHONE PLUS CLOUD package can be enhanced with as many phones as your store needs at only $100 per phone.  Cordless handsets or desk phones are available.
Can we customize the MAIN greeting to address holiday hours?
Yes, we offer an add-on audio package for only $199 that includes up to 15 MAIN greeting messages that can be used to cover all the primary holidays or special events. You can select which MAIN greeting you want playing to your callers.
What do I do with my fax line?
You can keep your fax line with your current vendor or move it to PHONE PLUS and use our efax service at only $20 per month.
