Can I keep my current business phone number?
YES, your callers will call you at the same telephone number. After your number is transferred (ported) to PHONE PLUS, you’ll no longer be paying for both your published number and your roll-over numbers with your current dial tone provider.
How do we know we have a voicemail message?
All your voicemail messages conveniently arrive as audio files to your email. You can listen to your messages, delete them, forward them via email or store them in a folder.
Does the phone in my office ring when a customer calls?
Yes It can, but some prefer the caller first hear your custom greeting message offering options to direct their call or get answers to their questions. If the caller elects to speak with a staff member, your phones will begin to ring in the office and the caller will hear your custom HOLD PLUS marketing messages.
Can you transfer a call from one phone to another?
Yes, when you are on a call you can transfer that call to another internal phone or an external number.
How many phone lines can it handle?
Your PHONE PLUS CLOUD business phone system will provide 1 talk path per telephone extension. With 12 telephones, you can have up to 12 active calls.
Who installs the business phone system?
All telephones are pre-programmed and provisioned to your PHONE PLUS system. We ship the telephones to you via UPS. Once they arrive, we’ll schedule an appointment to guide you through plugging the phones in. We’ll walk you through a tutorial on using the phones. Depending on the number of phones, this call can be completed within 15 minutes.
Who writes and records the greeting messages?
We have written thousands of messages for small businesses. You provide us the basic details and our team will craft your messaging. Once we have your approval, our professional voice actors will read the messages and we’ll load them to your PHONE PLUS system.
Do I need any special phone lines?
With PHONE PLUS your dial tone service will now come to you through the internet. Once your system is set up and your current published phone number is ported to PHONE PLUS, typically within 3 weeks, we’ll instruct you to cancel your old analog phone lines.
How many prompt messages can we use?
A telephone dial pad allows for up to 9 options. We recommend you not offer more that 3 to 4 options. Multiple levels of navigation can be set up.
What type of messages can be delivered?
With INFORMATION MAILBOXES you can provide answers to common questions through recorded messages. Popular messages are office location and hours, service territory, event details, fax number, email address and web address.
What do we do if we need technical support?
We offer World-Class customer support during business hours. If you have an emergency, you can leave a message and we’ll typically respond within an hour.
Can a caller choose to speak with someone at any time?
YES. If your system is set to Auto Answer, during the main greeting or any of the recorded messages, a caller can press ‘0’ or the key you designate and be transferred to a representative. While your phones in the office are ringing, your caller is being educated with your targeted HOLD PLUS marketing messages.
Can we purchase additional phones for the business?
Yes, the PHONE PLUS CLOUD package can be enhanced with as many phone as your office needs at only $100 per phone. Cordless handsets or desk phones are available. Premium phones are available and we offer Voip phones from all manufacturers.
Is there a warranty on the phones?
The phones are covered under a 1-year manufacturers warranty.

Can we customize the MAIN greeting to address holiday hours?

Your monthly PHONE PLUS CLOUD investment is calculated based on the number of phone lines, telephone extensions, and additional services you use.
What if the phone rings and we’re too busy to answer?
Unanswered calls are directed to your voicemail box enabling callers to leave you a message. Your voicemail messages arrive to your email account, enabling you to listen, delete, save or forward your messages.
